Parenting Apart (Ukiah only)
Family Enhancement Services
Parenting Apart is an educational workshop
mandated by the Superior Court of Mendocino
County for all parents who are experiencing
divorce or separation, custody and visitation
issues. This monthly workshop focuses on the needs of
the children before, during and after the family
experiences transition. Stressing the importance
of co-parenting, participants gain skills
on how to effectively build a business relationship
for the sake of their children.
Professional Counseling Services
(Ukiah & Fort Bragg)
Individual, family and group counseling for children, youth, and their families is provided by our licensed therapists, registered interns or master's degree candidates.
Our services are available to children up to 18 years of age, including toddlers and preschoolers
Child Abuse Treatment Program/CHAT (Ukiah only)
Professional therapy and support services for children and youth who have been exposed to abuse, neglect, or violence. To be eligible, children need to have been exposed to physical abuse, sexual abuse or exploitation, emotional abuse, neglect, domestic violence, parental substance abuse, child abduction or maltreatment be exposure to violence in the school or community.
No-fee services. Our CHAT services are grant-funded with no cost to eligible children and youth. We also take Medi-Cal. These services are available to children up to 18 years of age, including toddlers and preschoolers.
Crisis Intervention and
Short-Term Counseling
(Inland Mendocino County and North Coast)
Short-term crisis services for youth and their families including counseling, emergency housing, mediation, support group information and referral.
School Services
(Contracts with specific schools in
Ukiah, Fort Bragg, Mendocino, Point Arena & No. Sonoma County)
Alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention and intervention services.
Sex and drug education.
Youth development and peer helping programs.
Transitional Living Program (Ukiah)
Our transitional living program serves youth ages 18-21 and emancipated minors 16-17, including pregnant and parenting teens and youth aging out of foster care. The Program uses the youth development approach to assist these youth in making a successful transition to adulthood.
Up to 7 youth are housed in adjoining townhouses in downtown Ukiah. Youth may stay in the program for up to 18 months. They are required to work and/or go to school
