Mendocino Family and Youth Services (MFYS) is a private nonprofit 501c3 that was formed in 1979 to
provide resources for the Mendocino County Youth Project. Its goals include promoting MCYP's
visibility in the community and fundraising to support services
Up until recently, the Board of Directors of the Mendocino County Youth Project also
served as the Board of Directors for MFYS. In May 2008 the MCYP Board authorized the
establishment of s separate Board of Directors. The MFYS Board of Directors is currently
