Since 1974, the Mendocino County Youth Project (MCYP) has helped make our community a better place for youth, children and their families. Underlying our work is a commitment to positive youth development. By this we mean providing opportunities for youth to build skills, exert independent decision making, develop positive relationships and learn empathy for others. Our agency values include, respect for others, social justice, sharing resources/mentorship, excellence and accountability in our work, passion, self-expression, and service to others.
